Kevin O'Leary, CEO, QUMAS

Kevin was instrumental in the launch of QUMAS in 1994 and moved to US in 1997 to establish the company’s presence there. He returned to Europe in 2002 and has been CEO at QUMAS since 2007. Kevin is an acknowledged regulatory expert covering life sciences, financial services, and other verticals. He was nominated in the Ernst and Young Irish Entrepreneur of the Year program in 2009  and has been named in the Irish American Top 100 Most Influential People. He has recently been added to the Irish Science Advisory Council (which provides strategic direction to the Irish Government) and is also a sitting Council Member of the Irish Exporters Association. Kevin continues to spend one third of each year in the US, connecting with clients and building the business.

Alan is VP of Field Operations and responsible for Sales, Channels, Partners, and Professional Services at QUMAS.  Prior to joining QUMAS, Alan was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at McAfee for the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Business Unit.  Alan joined McAfee in 2004 when the company that he co-founded, Foundstone, was acquired by the leading computer security giant.  At Foundstone Alan was VP of Sales. 
Alan holds a B.B.A from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.  He also holds several industry designations including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
He currently resides in Boston, MA with his family and is an avid sailor and technology enthusiast.

Doreen Freeman, BIOVIA, Vice President of Human Resources

Doreen Freeman brings 20 years of successful experience in Human Resources Management in leading global companies in a number of industries – Life Sciences, Electronics, Food and Public Sector. As a senior executive she has been instrumental in developing business strategy at both operational and strategic levels resulting in leading edge practices within those organizations. She now holds responsibility for Global Human Resource Management for all QUMAS operations and is based in Cork, Ireland.

Doreen holds an MSc in Change Management, Diploma in Management and is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Personnel & Development of which she is an active Committee member.

Ken Hayward, BIOVIA, Chief Technology Officer

Ken Hayward has 20 years experience in the regulated software and document management industries. With extensive knowledge of compliance related technologies and the business problems they solve, Ken has designed software systems for regulated companies since the early 1980s. Originally a client before joining QUMAS in 2002, Ken worked with the London International Group, Kinesis Systems and PriceWaterHouse Coopers.

Caoimhe (Lynch) Kiely joined QUMAS in 2003 and is Vice President of Global Marketing responsible for new business generation, as well as marketing strategy and operations across the company. Since joining QUMAS, Caoimhe has been instrumental in positioning QUMAS as a leader in Compliance Management.

Prior to QUMAS, Caoimhe joined SmartForce (SMTF) in 1996 and served as Executive Program Manager responsible for the development of core modules of the Learning Management System (LMS) and also for the planning and development of e-learning content. Caoimhe previously worked with the Examinations Office in University College Dublin, and with the Irish Electoral Returning Officer on National Election planning and organization. Caoimhe holds a Masters Degree in Political Science and a B.A. in History and Politics from University College Dublin.

Donal O'Brien, VP Development and Support, is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the QUMAS product development and product support activities. O'Brien has over twenty years experience in the development and implementation of software systems, in a number of industry sectors including Life Sciences and Financial Services.

Before coming to QUMAS O'Brien worked in and provided consultancy services to regulated companies within Life Sciences.

O'Brien holds a Bsc in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration.

Joanne O'Driscoll is VP of Quality & CRM and has 15 years experience in the regulated software industry. Joanne has extensive knowledge in the definition and implementation of Quality Management Systems. As a senior executive she has been instrumental in the creation of an effective Software Product Development Methodology which supports business needs and provides QUMAS with a competitive edge in product development. Joanne is responsible for Quality at both a strategic and operational level. Having initially graduated in computer science, Joanne pursued further studies in quality management & regulations.

Sean Winslow, BIOVIA, Vice President of Strategic Engagements

Sean Winslow has served QUMAS since 2001 in several professional service roles, and is responsible for many of the implementation methodologies used by QUMAS, our client-base, and regulated environment world-wide. In 2008, Sean was appointed to VP of Professional Services and had a very successful tenure, leading his team to several new record-setting heights for the organization.  In 2012, Sean’s focus was transitioned to QUMAS’ Strategic Initiatives.  As the current VP of Strategic Engagements, Sean is responsible for organizational support for the acquisition, expansion and relationship of strategic and Tier-1 customers, including: sales strategy, oversight of professional services for strategic customers core deployments, new product/solution development and deployment support.

Winslow has over 20 years of experience implementing document/records management and process management software in regulated industries. Prior to joining QUMAS, Sean had successfully managed implementations for several global, tier-1 companies and served in the US Air Force as a Veteran Aeromedical Evacuation Medical Responder.

Sean received his education in Business Management from Rutgers University School of Business.
